STAGE JUDO
Is an association and a judo school.

Its aims are transmission and sharing of knowledge. By improving and studying technical knowledge,
we wish to contribute to the renaissance of Budo in Judo.

In Judo as well as in Budo, our way leads from coordination to intuition. Very often, judo has been known as a sportif and educational activity. But certain conditions are necessary when you are searching for more than a simple leasure time activity. Improving your self-knowledge, better using your physical, mental, intellectual, emotional and energetical resources, needs long body-experience, and this experience has been made possible through precise studies of technical basics, technical improvements and improvement of the commun principals, mainly the katas.

The main conditions are: continuing to practice and interrupting the training as less as possible; never cease to appearance, to illusions and to easyness.

It’s an approache that requires patience, regularity, a honest implication, and...teaching of great quality.

1. Our associative organisation is itinerary. We propose active
judo trainings for all judokas who want to learn more about
technics and to get a more complete knowledge of this discipline.  A large choice of reputated experts of French, Japanese and other European backgrounds teach their practical knowledge with methods comprehensive to everybody.

2. Our methods are based on the ideas of teaching and
perfecting the technical basics, and thanks to these methods,
everybody can comprehend the principals of movements
through feeling. It’s a well balanced, progressive and
self-assuring method that leads to precise practice.
Its aim is not only efficiency, but also acquiring technical skills.

3. The above mentioned principals are also determining the other matial arts and practices. They are also the basic principals of the knowledge about better usage of energy, and better usage of energy means good and intelligent usage of the forces and resources. These pincipals have an universal scope (the laws and coordinations of movements, our own perceptive, dicisive and emotionnel faculties).

4. The elaboration of a methodology well adapted to children,
adolescents and adults is highly important for the transmission
of judo, of a judo that is rich and complete because of its history
and its tradition transmitted during more than 120 years.
The continuation of judo and its further development, depend
mainly from the experience of the teachers.

5. By teaching the laws of movement and studying the principals
of better usage of energy, we can help young and less young  people to become conscient of something very current: “Energy ist also an heritage of humanity; it’s a resource that is not inexhaustible and that we must transmit and protect, rather than simply consumming it without moderation”...

6. Pleasure can become passion, and our group is growing.
More and more judokas, sharing a certain idea of judo are
joining us. What we have in common is certainly the will and
the pleasure to maintain a certain dynamic of progress, to
continue longtime on our way of learning, travelling and
discovering.

Judo is a culture transmitted from one generation the the next, thanks to a principal of mutual help. Its philosophy and its spirit come from practice.
